Dating my bf for almost 3 years

I don’t know if I’m rushing things or what, but I have the talk with my boyfriend told him if it’s time for us to start a new chapter in our life’s , like living together ( by the way he has a five year old daughter from he’s first marriage, she’s remarried and has kids with her present husband) but he says that I’m rushing things. But in reality I’m ready for this, I can’t wait anymore I’m going to be 31 this year and with no kids I need some advice
