Had anyone had an abortion with local anaesthetic

Just wondering if there is anyone out there who had an abortion with local anaesthetic?
What was your experience? Painful or just uncomfortable?
I am weighing up which route I want to take, I am very anxious about medical termination due to the pain and how long it takes, I also have never been sedated so I’m highly anxious about that too
