Would you download a gps app with your partner?

Question

My boyfriend has mentioned a couple times that he wants to download life360 with me. I always say no because we have snapmaps on for each other and always let each other know where we are, so I don’t think there’s any need for a gps app as well. Would you download something like this with your partner?

My husband and I have our locations on. For us it’s really for safety. I feel much better with him, my parents and brothers having my location. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been followed and harassed in a store. I try not going anywhere by myself so when I absolutely have to it just makes me feel better.

I wouldn't. I'm an adult who is perfectly capable of getting myself from point A to point B without being tracked by someone else. ￼

We did. Att the end of my last pregnancy we binged true crime series and kept saying how good it would have been if all the missing people would have had an app like that. I would like for him to know where i am. So far,it has mostly come in handy for timing dinner for when he comes home 😂

Yes. My fiancé has recently asked that we do this. His reasoning is that I have to drive 3 hours away (and alone) for an appointment this week and he knows I won’t be able to text him during the drive there and back so he would like to be able to use it as peace of mind that I’m okay. 
At first, a very very small part of me thought that he’s just worried that I’m not going where I say I’m going and is just trying to keep tabs on me. But then I thought, you know, even IF that was the case, what’s it matter? I am going where I say I’m going and I know that I’ll feel more comfortable with knowing that he’s got my back if something did happen during the drive.

I would not but if we agreed it was something we wanted to have in case just share location with each other when needed
