No heartbeat at 6w3d

Hi ladies,

I had my ultrasound follow up with my doctor and she said the tech didn’t do a good job on the report but based on what they wrote, there’s no heartbeat and ranging from 5-6 weeks. Which she’s never seen.

She said she expected to hear a heartbeat by now but the report is kind of messy and unclear. They also said they see a sac but no embryo or fetus which doesn’t look like it from the picture.

Has anyone had success stories about not hearing a heartbeat until later? I know when I ovulated so I should be 6w3d. She wants me to come in next Wednesday to do an ultrasound with her, my doctor and then go over everything but just a little nervous.

She left it saying she will be “cautiously optimistic, but normally would hear a heartbeat by now”.

Any positive vibes or stories would be amazing right about now.
