Too late for a positive? IB?

Confused. My last period was 18 days late. I did ovulate late obviously. It showed up on 4/28 and only lasted 4 days. I’m usually 5-6+ days long. I temped that month and the month before. I was away beginning of may and forgot my thermometer and have been missing temps. I’ve done several temps this month including the past 5 days in a row, but there is a lot missing. I did have ovulation strips with me when away. Got a positive ovulation on 5/4 and we did BD that day and I think the next day. So I ovulated very early and soon after my period. With the early ovulation my period should have been due around the 19th or 20th. I’ve been pretty crampy on and off the last 3-4 days. More like dull cramps and I thought we’ll my period is due so here it comes. Tuesday night 5/21 I used the bathroom and wiped and the toilet paper had pink blood on it. Not a lot, but enough that I was like here it is and put on a pad and went to bed. Woke up the next morning to a clean pad and still no period. Took a test tonight that was negative. Thoughts??? I’ll test again in the morning, but I feel like I’d have a blazing positive by now. Anyway it’s just not showing up in urine and I need a blood test? Can that happen? Also the day I had the blood/spotting my temp dropped a bit and I figured that made sense now it’s rising back up the past two days.
