I can’t decide..
I have a daughter (she’s almost 2) and loves animals.
I adopted a cat 3 days ago, a 6wk kitten to be exact.
First night I got her, I drove an hour from my apartment to my baby daddy’s (we’re not together but I’m co-dependent on the bare minimum help he does have to offer- which isn’t much..) and the cat stayed with all of us.
I have untreated hyperthyroidism (please don’t come for me about how dangerous that is, I know- and I’m suffering (I’m 25 and 86.7lbs and a mom to 5 total) I don’t have insurance but I do what I can to this day.
It’s not curable anyways, so I live day to day in hopes.
So yesterday was a bad day for me, throwing up, weak, diarrhea etc.. Normal for a thyroid storm, this is my second within a year span (they did nothing for me at the hospital, so I stayed home and been kinda pushing through and doing well)
I took the cat back to my apartment and let the cat have access to my bedroom, and bathroom (bedroom has its food and water, and bed- all spaced out (food together)) litter box is in my bathroom and was newly placed before I left (clean and new)
I intended on going to my apartment tonight, staying the night overnight, heading back early AM like I usually do, however my heart is aching for that baby.. Should I just go get her and thug it out?😩
I saved the kitten from a KILL shelter- she has all of her appointments lined up (vaccines, spay, and microchip in June) She’s safe! Just probably bored.
AC is on & so is my TV on low as background noise.
