Is this how attraction works?

I have been with my husband for many years and since the begining he avoids sex like the pague. We went to counsellors, doctors and everything in between and nothing. Even though the male counselors encourage him to do it, he did not. When I asked for a divorce and he stated that I don't understand men or how attraction works. He say that I have an attractive body and that he wants to have sex with me, but he wouldn't even looked at me, let along touch me or have sex with me. He always looks for excuses or give me explanations of what happened. I never seen a man attracted to a woman that doesn't show any evidence of attraction. If there is any man on the app. Can you corroborate his statement? I told him no straight man will back his statement. And yes, at this point I almost sure what is going on. The two times I saw him looking to other women he made sure he "got caught". He even said that the first thing men see is personality, I work in male workplaces before and I never saw that.
