Trying to get pregnant

Anyone have any helpful tips on trying to get pregnant? My partner and I have been trying for 3 months but nothing. With my first it did take awhile as well. However I did have a surgery in January a cone biposy and was wondering if this affects anything? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated 🩵
