Femara?

Has anyone taken Femara to help with Ovulation and gotten a positive result? I’m about to start it this cycle and I’m a little nervous.

I used it after trying for 18months to no avail, first round of letrozole I got pregnant. She is now 2. This time I used it first round in January and I got pregnant again, currently 22weeks. So yes it worked great for me. Used clomid once. I ovulated but I didn’t get pregnant.

Letrozole never worked for me unfortunately. Clomid worked better for me.

I took clomid, it never resulted in pregnancy but i did get a bad ovarian cyst that ruptured and was pretty serious.

I used it and got pregnant 2 of the 3 cycles I was on it. The first I didn’t ovulate and needed provera to induce a period and then upped my letrozole dosage. Second cycle unfortunately was an early miscarriage. Third cycle was successful and I’m currently 31 weeks. I took clomid when I was trying for my first and it never worked for me. Clomid also gave me much worse side effects. My only real side effect with letrozole was bad cramping during ovulation

I have PCOS and it’s been so hard. We have 3 little boys. We always wanted one more in hopes of a little girl, but my body isn’t doing what it’s supposed to on its own now. I was pretty excited about trying it until I read up on it and saw some of the side effects. My anxiety has not been kind.
