Mid cycle bleeding

I am 12 months PP and in just a year I’ve had less than a handful of cycles with mid cycle bleeding. Coincidentally around ovulation so I pinned it as that. I posted the other day asking if I should go to the doctor and everyone quickly said no, it’s normal. I’ve never had mid cycle bleeding before in my life. I left out a minor detail, the bleeding lasts for 5 days. My research shows ovulation bleeding is only 1-2 days. So I got worried and dug deeper. I’m questioning if I developed a polyp. Does anyone relate to this? I seem to match the symptoms except there is no bleeding after sex. I am going to call the doctor because we are TTC again and I’d hate myself if I pushed off getting checked out and it prevented us from being successful
