Should I say something to her about this or am I being dramatic?
What would y’all do in a situation like this? When I got my taxes I wanted to get something to clean my furniture with because I have messy toddlers who spills drinks and stuff on the couch. I bought a Bissell green machine pro and paid $170 for it so damn near $200 for this machine and loved it. I’ve not even had it a month and my sister asked if she could borrow it because she got a new piece of furniture and wanted to clean it before they sat on it. I told her that was fine because that’s the same thing I use it for is cleaning furniture I figured there was nothing wrong with that so I let her borrow it and told her to just make sure she doesn’t use it on any surfaces unless she vacuums first to avoid dirt getting in it and to clean it before I got it back. Well she ended up keeping it for a week I just got it back and I’m low key VERY upset about the condition she returned it in. I normally don’t care about stuff like this but like I said this was $170 that I spent and I haven’t even had it a month. She clearly did not just use it to clean a piece of furniture it REEKS of dog pee, dog poop, it’s cakedddd full with dog hair and dirt and poop and specks of some kind of orange plastic or playdoh I’m not even sure, poop and dirt caked all in the bristles of the brush so thick that it’s clogged, there’s even poop all over the power cord like it’s awful I don’t even want to use it on my furniture anymore and quite honestly don’t wanna put in the effort to clean it it’s so bad. The fill tank smells like strong mildew where I’m assuming it wasn’t being dumped after uses and water was just left sitting in it. Should I say something to her about this ? I don’t even have pets but if I did I would not use a bissell to clean up their poop and especially if the bissell wasn’t even mine. Like I am so upset🤦♀️
