Why is ivf full of so much heartache?

Just had a devistating appt with a high risk pregnancy doctor. I’m 11 weeks pregnant and they gave a high percentage of chromosomal abnormality or heart defect based on my scan. My embryo was pgt tested as normal. Why do these things happen? After going through years of trying, failed iuis, loss of an embryo before transfer and now this. I can’t even function after this news and we have to wait 3-4 weeks before they’ll know more after testing. Sorry just know you ladies can relate on some of these things, no one else understands.
