NIPT testing opinions needed?

This is my 3rd pregnancy. The first one ended in a partial molar, the second was a chemical. I am 9w0d today and my Dr wants me to make a decision on this test before my next appt on 7/12 and my husband and I are torn. Any opinions are greatly appreciated !

I have done it twice. I am currently waiting on my second test results. Personally I would do it. The reason why is because I want to know if I am a carrier of any conditions that could affect my kids. I also want to know if my child has any chromosome defects that could be life threatening. It is better than getting an amio done.

I refused the NIPT my first pregnancy because my thought process was that it didn’t matter what was “wrong” with the baby, I still wanted it. She had Down Syndrome & I didn’t know until several weeks after she died. (I lost her at 16 weeks gestation). I’ve had it with every other pregnancy except my chemical because I will not be going another high risk pregnancy without the extra monitoring that could’ve possibly saved her. I recommend getting it done.

I’m doing the NIPT I want to know everything possible. Previously had a miscarriage, it was early, but I think the test will give me a peace of mind. Thankful that my insurance says they will cover it.

Following in pregnant with my 3rd baby and this would be first baby where I will have nipt testing done after doing some research I will for sure do it to be on the safe side.

This is my 3rd also & still undecided if we do NIPT testing also... I was 99% sure i wasn't going to do but then 1% reading comments on your post makes me think should I. The baby will be whatever god plans it to be & im still on fence whether its truly that important to test. Plus its like $400.00...

My third pregnancy was a partial molar and then my 4th pregnancy my daughter had down syndrome she’s 6 now and I did the nipt test from my son after her and will do the test in about 2.5 weeks with this baby too  the test won’t change anything for us  but just want to be prepared and also know gender of baby
