Anyone else had bleeding that lasts sometimes days, sometimes a few minutes after having a baby?? I’ll be 13 weeks postpartum this Friday. Nearly two weeks ago I started what my OB thought was my period. It started light and got heavy. Bled for three days consistently. Then I would bleed for an hour the next day, stop, then start again the day after that for maybe half the day, then stop bleeding again. When the bleeding stopped (or so I thought) I had an orgasm (no p in v) and started bleeding A LOT. This bleeding was quick for maybe a minute then it slowed down and lasted for a day. This lasted a good week until the bleeding became brown and didn’t come back. I started having the yellow Lochia after this occurred and have had it up until today, along with super stretchy cervical mucus. Flash forward to today, I’m spotting pink/red again… does this sound normal??

OB won’t see me as he thinks I’m having irregular periods. But this concerns me and I have no other friends that experienced this. Especially having heavy bleeding after an orgasm. I am afraid to have sex with my partner now or even pleasure myself, and I miss my husband in that aspect of our love life.
