I have been experiencing tender sore nipples since about a week now and I've had my cycle like 2 weeks ago now I'm 43 and want a baby with my husband and haven't been able to I've basically gave up the <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android">glow app</a> doesn't seem to help me either

Do you always have to wait to take a test after you miss a period?

For the first time in months, my nipples have been super sore since ovulation and my lower pelvic area feels weird. I’m feeling kind of pregnant on and off, but so far 9 & 10 DPO tests have been negative. My usual first signs are a crampy/heavy uterus and just feeling off. Usually sore nipples don’t start until about a week or so after a BFP for me.
From what I read, the symptoms of perimenopause can overlap with pregnancy symptoms. 😩 Last month for the first time ever, my nipples only hurt before ovulation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean you don’t have to with some tests but I know I got tired of seeing negative tests and decided I wasn’t testing anyone until my period was late.  Lo and behold the next month I was late and it was positive 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also get the First Response tests that are fairly reliable days before your missed period. I rarely wait until a missed period to test because I’m impatient.

My first signs have been very sore, engorged-feeling breasts, unexpected/unexplained constipation, and a weird swollen or re-arranged feeling in my very low abdomen. Good luck mama!
