Questions - no judgement pls
Preface: I’m not actually pro-THC, but also understand that in *some* cases, it might be the only option. I’ve been forced to use THC a handful of times throughout my pregnancy, and deeply regret and hate and feel horrible that I had to get to that point, but I have a condition that is extremely, horribly painful during flare ups that nothing else offers relief for, so, here we are.
1st question: does anyone know if baby is drug tested at birth in WA state? If so, what happens, and what do I have to do?
2nd question: why am I not actually able to get “high” during pregnancy, but I can when NOT pregnant? I’ve had to use THC for medical reasons, and I’ve noticed that prior to pregnancy, I would definitely get affected with THC, but in the few times I’ve used it throughout my pregnancy, I don’t really feel or get high, it just helps the pain. I have a weird theory that maybe my body has some kind of rejection mechanism to protect baby? Is that even a thing? (Disclaimer: I’m merely idly curious about this, and don’t actually LOOK for a high, only pain relief when ABSOLUTELY necessary)
3rd question: when using THC in pregnancy, does that make baby more or less active, and does it mean anything at all either way
Thanks in advance to those who gave judgement-free responses
