Ovulation?

This has come up on what the app says is my first full day of ovulation. I know it should get darker in time but is this what everyone else has experienced? Me and my partner have been trying for a while now so any advice welcome. I’m 35 he’s 33.

First day of ovulation is 12-48 hours after your first dark positive, where the test is as dark or darker than the control line. Your fertile period begins about 5 days before ovulation and up to one day after. It’s best to be intimate every other day during this period, especially if you’re having symptoms of ovulation.
