Hello! So I am in a situation here. So, I have been in amoxicillin for a double ear infection due to me having covid. I went to a Nurse practitioner on the 4th of July, (the only one open on the holiday). The pharmacist and the nurse practitioner that prescribed it to me told me to be very careful this month with sex and of course use a back up method. Even on the bottle it says it may interfere with the pill. I am on the pill and I take it very regularly. My primary doctor told me that only a certain TB antibiotic interferes with birth control pills. I’ve done research, and I see both. I’m very nervous to have sex this month due to my husband and I not wanting to be expecting right now. Any advice?
