hi everyone! we have tried working on potty training with my 4.5 year old autistic son and haven’t had much success. recently he has been asking/saying“want to poop on the toilet” which is great! but as soon as we get in the bathroom he just sits there for a minute or two and then asks to “flush ok now wash hands”. i think he just likes to wash his hands and that’s why he asks to go poop lol. any tips or ideas on how to actually get him to go? his receptive language is pretty poor so we try and keep things very short and simple. any ideas are appreciated!
