Hi all!

I am on the combination pill yasminelle and took the prescribed break last month, during which I experienced a very light and short in duration period which would be the norm for me. Now for this month, I skipped my break as I have done without issue in the past but before my old pack even ran out I started a period that’s incredibly heavy compared to my usual periods (tampon soaked within an hour) and with more painful and persistent cramps. I’m just worried as I am now day 6 with no signs of the bleeding becoming lighter and I always associated breakthrough bleeding with spotting. I have taken this pill since 2018 and never had something like this. If anyone could shed some light that would be amazing. Thanks!
