My July 3rd baby ended up being a June 26th baby
Was having contractions for weeks, had several false alarms, tons of pressure and could hardly walk without any pain. Pretty sure I had pubic symphysis dysfunction. On Tuesday early morning of that week I had woken up with strong contractions, had a stomach ache, diarrhea and vomiting The contractions stopped that afternoon/evening decided to go walk the mall with my mom for some baby clothes. That evening the contractions picked back up and were a little more stronger, I could not sleep. I was going to wait to see my doctor that Wednesday afternoon at 2 but the contractions stopped me right on my tracks, took a few baths but nothing was helping. I have back labor they felt like very intense period cramps. I’m so glad I decided to listen to my mother and go in an Uber otherwise I would’ve had my baby on her apt floor. Took us about an hour to get there arrived around 8:50am, my baby arrived at 12:47pm with about 5 pushes. Didn’t get the epidural until I was ready to push, only had it in for about 15 mins before I had to push. I felt like I had to go 💩 I told the nurse and we both didn’t think it was time to push but he came so quickly. I did it all alone, everyone was at work and we thought I was going to be laboring all day but this was nothing like my other two births.
My baby boy couldn’t wait any longer and made his entrance and I’m so glad he did because I couldn’t take the acid reflux, the PSD, back pain & carpal tunnel anymore. Went thru a lot with this little guy during pregnancy and after. Unfortunately we had to stay for 5 days at the hospital, baby had to have so many exams and I had to be placed on magnesium drip thanks to preeclampsia, I was having really bad blurry vision and they found protein in my urine and elevated liver enzymes so we stayed. It was lonely 😔 and I was sad and frustrated I just wanted to go home with my baby and be with my family. Anyways we are now both doing so well and I’m so in love with my beautiful baby boy. I would go through a lot of that all over again for him. I’d do anything for him. Thanks for reading and have a safe delivery and congrats to all you July mommas.
