I’m delayed sharing here but our girl has arrived.

Born 7/3 at 39 weeks +1.

Was induced on 7/2 due to baby being large for gestational age and me being 35 (advanced maternal age).

Was dilated to a 3 at admittance but cervix was still super high.

After 13 hours of pitocin I had dilated to a 5 but cervix had not come down and they still couldn’t even break my water. Doctor made the decision to move into a C-Section because they felt she was too large to engage and that was causing the failure to progress.

Went back to surgery an hour later.

And our girl was born at 12:05 pm.

She is happy and health and we are completely in love.

She’s 13 days old today.

Our older daughters love her to pieces and we are so thankful for her.
