I joined this group and the august group because I’m due September 4th, but would not be allowed to go past 37 weeks, making me due to have baby in august. This pregnancy has been rough from day 1. I was diagnosed with a C-section scar pregnancy and bled from the day after I tested positive until 14 weeks when I had a big bleed. The second trimester was pretty uneventful but this third trimester has been awful.

I’ve had low lying placenta/placenta previa and suspected placenta accreta. After a MRI last week it confirmed I actually have placenta percreta, which is the most severe form of accreta. My last ultrasound also showed vasa previa as well. So now I’m very high risk and will likely be delivering this Friday at 34+3. I will have to have a hysterectomy with my C-section and possibly also have my cervix removed and reconstructive surgery on my bladder or bowels if my placenta has embedded into any of the nearby organs. I will be cut vertically, which is something I’m really struggling with as a plus size person 😭. With this hospital I’ll be delivering at, baby girl will automatically have to go to the nicu for a week.

I’m so scared and nervous 🥹 just praying her and I make it on the other side safely.
