Ok y’all. I feel like haven’t been on here in forever, but I need some advice and opinions. Long post ahead, but I’m trying to explain everything that’s happened in 2 weeks.

My boy is now almost 8 months old (YAY! 🥳)! But, with his birth came birth control options. After much convincing and reassurance from my OB’s nurse, who’s had it for 5 years, we went with the Liletta IUD. I’ve had it for almost 7 months and I don’t have a period anymore at all. No bleeding, no spotting, no cramping, nothing.

Lately I’ve been noticing that I’m exhausted (more so than usual since I’m in Nursing), I’m constantly nauseous and lightheaded, I have cramping in my lower abdomen, my discharge has been insane, I have a very very light positive line after a pregnancy test yesterday, and I noticed some bleeding when I went to the bathroom today. I guess the positive could be a fluke?

I called my OB 2 weeks ago and they told me to come in to check my IUD last Tuesday, then they moved it to this coming Wednesday at 12:30. I explained my situation and that I start work at 6a and don’t get off until 2p at the earliest (and if any of y’all have been in nursing when it’s short staffed, you know they ain’t letting me leave for 💩). The lady got snotty and said that’s the only opening they have for weeks.

What do I do?
