Sooo confused

So 12 dpo i had light red bleeding after doing the deed it only lasted for maybe an hour? I thought i was starting 3 to 4 days early i didnt have cramps and it never got heavier it just stopped that day. But today 13 dpo i took a test and it was super faint. Later on i noticed i was spotting again only when i wiped and again it stopped. My periods dont start with spotting once i start bleeding i continue to bleed and it gets heavier througout the day.
