My husband and I have known each other for since we were in pull ups. Literally known each other our whole lives and there is still things that we don’t know about each other. My husband has been friends with this girl we went to school with in high school. They have always been friends and very close. Don’t get the wrong idea, I have total access to their conversations and they talk in front of me, she comes around. She has watched our kids while we went out on dates, so it’s never been a problem. I never thought that there could be anything between them.

But one day while I found out they had a short fling with each other one summer before him and I had got together. I found out when I discovered old messages on his old Facebook account from when he was in college. Basically, they’ve slept with other a few times before, but decided to just stay friends. I’ve never known this information before, so now every time I see them interacting or on the phone, I feel a little weird about it now. I don’t want to tell him he has to stop talking to her, but I also don’t want to keep feeling this way .

Are people able to stay strictly friends after being with other before. I like her to, and feel like she has become my friend as well. What would you do if your husband had female best friends?
