Breastfeeding
Hi there. I have a baby boy that is currently about to turn two months old. He seems to be breastfeeding more frequently than normal & does seem to be getting enough at times and at other times does not. He seems to be losing sleep at times. I have recently increased my pump times to help my body create more milk for him to get to where he needs to be, but I’m not sure it is working.
He was a NICU baby for 3 days so we never got that first initial latch. I started in the hospital with a hospital grade Medela pump & have been using the hands free Medela pump at home. I have been looking into getting one that I can use on the go as well if I have to drive but still need to get a pump session in. Are there any other suggestions that anyone can think of? We’ve tried supplementing with formula but that lead to him vomiting up more than he could take at that time. I’ve also changed my diet being PP to better healthier things, I’m in taking water frequently, eating snacks and meals when I can. Just need some help. Thanks!
