Brown Discharge and COVID

I’ve been having some brown discharge but I’m 8 days away from my period and not close too my previous one, so I don’t think it’s old blood. I have COVID right now and the discharge started when I got COVID Is this something COVID can cause? I can’t really find anything about it online
