Hey everyone! I’m a first time mom in Canada, I’m about it 5 weeks along, have had two blood test to ensure my levels are increasing, and my first appointment with my family doctor isn’t until August 6. Then I assume at this appt I will get my referral to go get my ultrasound which would probably take a few weeks, so that gets me to around 10 weeks.

Should I wait until August 7 and then wait for my referral, or should I call and have a referral put in now for a ultrasound closer to 7-8 weeks and then I can get another referral at my appointment for closer to 10-12?

Or is the average only one ultrasound between 8-12 weeks? I’m not 100% and would love your insight and experience!
