Hi ladies, I was recently prescribed metformin for my prediabetes and I was going to take it, but the side effects scared me. I’ve had multiple kidney infections as a kid and I see everywhere that if you have had any kind of kidney issues to not take it. I emailed my doctor, but they are closed over the weekend. Can anyone share their experiences? I’m also starting letrozole on my next cycle and the doctor said metformin will increase my chances. He mentioned I am likely to miscarry due to prediabetes? I may have heard him wrong, I don’t know. I’m just so stressed!
