My husband got me a bouquet of flowers yesterday and they’ve been smelling so strong today that it was almost giving me a headache. I looked up what flowers are safe during pregnancy and apparently lilies are one of the ones to avoid because they can cause miscarriage?? But would the smell of them really have caused any harm? There were only two lilies in my bouquet but like I said, they smelled very strong whenever I was in the kitchen with them. Does anyone here have experience with flowers and know if there’s any cause for concern? I don’t want to bother my midwife over what might likely be nothing (I have a lot of anxiety this pregnancy due to a previous miscarriage so I realize I might be overreacting).
