I’m needing some support
Hey all,
My husband I tried on and off to have a kid for about 10 years. The first time I went to the DR about infertility in 2017 resulted in a myomectomy (not laparoscopic) and the removal of a 10.5cm fibroid. Cleared to try again after a year.
I’m now 39 and after trying the LH sticks and timing, we went to the fertility clinic where I’ve been going through all the testing. I have good follicles on both ovaries, hormones are great, bloodwork on point.
My hsg showed only one tube and it is blocked, and I just had the saline sonogram yesterday. Today my nurse called to let me know that I have a unicornuate uterus and that my lining is scalloped, I have a possible polyp, and I need an MRI to check if my uterus is even big enough to carry a child. Then my dr will see if I can improve the conditions in there with a hysteroscopy, and also check my kidneys because apparently those form at the same time as the uterus.
I’m overwhelmed y’all.
Has anyone else been through something like this? I’m feeling really sad right now.
