IDK?!

So my period is supposed to start next Wednesday 8/7. I’ve been having the most intense bloating to the point I can’t go to sleep. Last night I had a fever 100.5 and chills, Just last night, fine today like it didn’t happen. I had unprotected sex and he came in me a few weeks ago the week of my ovulation. I’ve been on the Nuvaring up until 3 months ago. We are not trying but not, not trying. I want to take a test but I feel like it’s too soon and don’t feel like the disappointment of a negative test. I was going to test this Friday but I’m not sure if that’s too soon.
