I had my second baby at 34 weeks via c section due to severe pre-clampsia. I didn’t have it on my first pregnancy which was overdue by 41 weeks. Unfortunately on the second pregnancy, I had GD diagnosed at 28 weeks then pre-clampsia at 34 weeks which led to preterm baby.

I would like to know what are the chances of getting preclampsia again? I would like to have 3rd child in the future but anxious due to how traumatic the experience with preeclampsia was. I have a normal pregnancy with my first child with no complications but 2nd pregnancy was not.

I am healthy person with no health issues and was surprised when I was told I had preclampsia which escalated quickly.

Would like to hear from mamas who did not get preclampsia on their subsequent pregnancies and wonder if they did anything in particular to avoid it.
