IUD just fits in my uterus
I had Kylenna IUD for 3.5 years and I decided to switch to Mirena because my periods were extremely long. I switched today and it went well but my Dr told me my uterus is smaller so I’m the Mirena literally just fit. It’s safe but it’s on the edge. She told me to be on the lookout in case it expels but it should be fine.
I’m a little stressed now. I’m cramping which is totally normal after insertion obviously I’m just scared that I’m gonna perforate or become infertile. I wasn’t stressed with Kyleena. Has anyone else ever been right on the last possible measurement? Or have any knowledge on what it will be like since it takes up the whole things?
Edit: they set it at 6.5cm
