I have a cousin who blatantly copies everything about me. And I would sound crazy to call this out…

I started to notice this a few years ago. We were texting each other she wanted to get tattoos together. She didn’t know what she wanted to get though….

I was bored at work and I drew a moon and sun on my fingers and sent it to her……

She literally drew the EXACT same thing and sent it back to me…………….. I ended up getting a butterfly on my shoulder instead because I didn’t want my first tattoo to be stolen and copied. Where’s the fun in that? And (surprise) She seriously got moon and sun and star on her fingers 🤡

Then a few months later she went and got ANOTHER moon and sun on each shoulder (where I switched my idea to my shoulder) she just ran with the moon/sun idea and then put more on her shoulders 😭

Years later her boyfriend left her. I was with my boyfriend for their entire relationship. (My boyfriend is Puerto Rican) and her next relationship was some younger Puerto Rican dude 7 years younger then her she met on Xbox lmao. (I know that’s a stretch to accuse her of) but she kept mentioning to me that he is PUERTO RICAN like that’s the biggest reason she was interested in him. Because MY LONGTIME boyfriend is also the same ethnicity? I don’t get why that was so important to cling onto

YEARS LATER…. I have been wearing my hair in a brown/blonde ombré style. She was dying her hair bleach blonde and always had to “get her roots touched up” not wanting to have dark roots showing…. Fast forward to now she went and got the exact same hair color and style as me 🙃 dark brown fading into a honey blondish color

I was gifted a beautiful gold necklace with my name on it from my mother a few years ago for my birthday…… few years later she got a name necklace from ….shocker…. Her mother. 🤣 Years after the fact. And my aunt is like “oh wow, Katie has the same necklace as you” 🤡

I also mentioned getting a rose tattoo to my mother years ago. And my cousin keeps mentioning and asking if I want to get matching rose tattoos on our hand like I was mentioning…. Like she was over hearing my convo with my mom and is already planning on robbing that tattoo idea from me next? I can’t even have a fucking TATTOO in this family. She has to Copy and try to morph into me. No matter what I do.

She also always tries to embarrass me. Or post bad pictures of me on Facebook/insta because she has some weird obsession and jealousy with me. It’s such a mind fuck situation and I honestly can’t even stomach

Does anyone else have a friend/relative with this creepy weird obsession with you? It’s the most trivial shit to witness. And honestly disgusting and if you call it out you look insecure or crazy. Ya know?

What would you do in a situation like this? I could go on and on about this girl but I’m trying to keep it short lol … any advice how to deal with this weird “cousin” 😭
