Ended up going to the hospital for L&D triage today per my doctor’s recommendation. I’ve been having what I thought was just intense cramps that started last night and then kept me up for most of the night. Come to find out it’s contractions 😭 they happen anywhere from every 10 minutes to once an hour but only last a maximum of 20 seconds. I’m not dilated thank god but I was eventually sent home on bed rest until my next OB visit which is Monday. Has anyone else experienced this? My first was a scheduled c section that ended in my water breaking then straight to c section so I don’t have much to compare this to 😭.

They told me to come back if they get any closer together or start to last longer, which they haven’t. I’m just super uncomfortable since they haven’t stopped.
