I’m so confused with my birth control and my period timeline. I switched birth controls in the middle of a cycle, doctor told me to just go ahead and switch. It is technically a minipill but has 5 placebo pills at the end of the pack. I’ve always thought that the placebo pills are meant to be taken during the week of your period…well my period came a week early this month (which I haven’t had the placebo pills and my period line up so far since starting it) but now my placebo pills are overlapping with my predicted ovulation week…will it still be effective or should I avoid sex completely for this week?
