Would I be wrong to ask my oldest if she's planning on leaving me high and dry?
My ex husband passed away 3 weeks ago to suicide. He shot himself in his bathroom. He was paying child support and alimony before than and I was getting around 20k a month with child support and alimony combined because he was extremely wealthy and he left me. Since he's gone I will no longer receive child support or alimony. Each of my kids do have a trust fund they get when they're 18 and my oldest turns 18 in September. She goes away to college the end of August and I'm worried she's going to take the money from her trust and leave me high and dry. I wasn't trying to say anything because she, like the rest of my babies are grieving their father but to flies out to college in a week and a half and I want to know if she is really going to leave me high and dry. And it's not like she has a couple thousands. She should have millions in that trust.
