Dad seems disinterested.
So for background, we have a 10 month old daughter. She is a BUSY, curious, happy and lively girl. My partner has sound related sensory problems and anxiety. He gets overstimulated and frustrated by our daughter crying and screaming (as babies do) and when she is grabbing and getting into things or won't sit still. He also sets her on the ground and plays on his phone, tuned out while she plays and tries to interact. I've tried telling him that she is just being a baby and communicating and exploring the world in the only way she knows how to and told myself it would get better, he has just never been around a baby before and wasnt used to it. However, she is now 10 months old and it hasnt gotten better, and now she is more mobile and into more stuff. Now he says stuff like "i don't want to be alone with her for 3 hours" or "i don't want to be trapped under her" when she is in a cuddly, hold-me mood. Has anyone went through this? Did they get better or am I just lying to myself and delusional?
