So I been thinking about asking my boyfriend to marry me but I don’t know if I should just wait for him to ask first … I know it’s not traditional or anything but the way we plan on getting married isn’t traditional either. A little back story we been in love with each other since high school but we’re scared to ask each other then because of fear of rejection we ended up finally getting together 4 years ago and have been together since and we have two kids together and thoughts of wanting another one … we are planning on getting our own place together this coming year and already talked about marriage and we agreed on just going out getting our rings together and eloping (there’s a lot of family drama on my side and I have a fear of the wrong people figuring out about our wedding and ruining it so we just wanna do something just us) we never really put a time or date on anything or even talked about if we still want to do the engagement thing. I already wear a ring on my ring finger but we never really made anything too official. Should I go ahead and ask him or just wait and see
