hey everyone, i’m really at a loss, and feel so defeated. i have been to the dr and to the emergency room multiple times since i was a teenager for over the top period cramp pain, it’s really really bad, shoots down my back and into my legs, makes me nauseous, gives me headaches, feels like something is scraping at my insides, and each and every time the drs just push it off and send me home with ibuprofen as i have screaming fits in the emergency room. just this year i was told to go in for a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis, in which my gynecologist told me that might not even be the solution to the pain. i’m really tired of dealing with the pain, i cannot do anything physical during my time of the month, move, go out, even called out of work a couple of times because i physically could not deal. nothing works, no amount of pain medicine, no heating pads, i just have to wait for it to pass. i’ve tried birth control, but i don’t know what other options i have especially because this is not curable. does anyone have any advice or has been through this same thing? i feel so defeated and i just want to feel normal.
