Our 11 yr old cat was found to have a growth after we took her in for weight loss. She is having surgery tomorrow to have a biopsy and am scared we are gonna take her in and not get to pick her up alive. I'm hoping it is just a solid mass that can be removed and she will get more years but there is a chance it is cancer. If the it is cancer I hope she is ok enough to at least come home so we can have the vet come to our house for her euthanasia. She has always feared the vet and my worst fear is her dying scared. She has been my baby wince she was found behind my work in a bag dumped by someone before her eyes were even open. From the minute ibstarted bottle feeding her she has been my ride or die through life and kids and moves and everything. We are not religious so not asling for prayers but if you can think good.thoughts we would appreciate it. I cannot imagine my bed without her sleeping against the back of my neck. I don't want her to suffer but also am not ready to.say good bye (nobody ever is though) so hoping she pulls through and we caught it early. I have 2 very very scared/sad kids and.2 other cats and 4 dogs who know something is wrong and are just giving her lots of love. Pets have a special place in a heart that is hard to explain to non pet people.
