So we live two hours away from my in laws and everytime a relative of theirs wants to come to our house my MIL will ask my husband if it’s ok (he will say I think so but as my wife) and my MIL says ok I will. Then she CONFIRMS with said relative that they’re coming over to my house and either she tells me afterwards (tells not asks) or I find out through some conversation (if my husband forgets to tell me). Both me and my husband have told her to ask ME first before telling people it’s ok to come to my house on a certain day but years after year she continues to do it.

It’s always different people too so it’s not like I can just tell them hey next time ask me.

Anyway I’m going out of my mind idk how else to tell this lady this isn’t your house you don’t get to invite people and THEN tell me that’s just belittling me.
