This is kind of odd. My HCG was rising normal 118 to 1192 to my last HCG that was 4000 at 4w6d. Fast forward to yesterday it was drawn at 5w6d one week after the 4000 and it was only 14356. I.have a history of ectopic so my OB suggested I go to ER to get a transvaginal ultrasound. Well they did end up finding a baby measuring 6w3d and a heart beat of 118. Yay right !? Except when i was getting discharged they told me my HCG drawn today in the ER was 14179 which is slightly less than it was 18 hours prior. My OB said we are gonna monitor the situation and I have a vaginal ultrasound Monday that we are keeping. Im not sure how to feel. It seems concerning that its dropped. Has that ever happened to anyone?
