Just advice. It’s probably nothing but if you have had new sexual partners recently or suspect them of sleeping around and that’s just popped up, I’d get tested to be safe for herpes type 1. It’s most likely a canker sore tho

If it's on the inside of your lip it's a canker sore not a cold sore. Could sores are viral and canker sores are usually from rubbing ie on your teeth or eating acidic foods.
