Heavy clotty periods

Editing: where I am you can’t just walk in to see a gyno. You need to get a referral from your family doctor. Which I’ve tried to do but he hasn’t given me one yet. I’m not looking for the obvious advice or criticism for using the healthcare we have in Canada. I was nearly passing out the ONE TIME I went to the er for it, so being human, I was scared and went to the er.

I’m at a loss.

I’ve spoken to two family doctors, and been to emergency once and I just get laughed at. I’m having another period month where I’m feeling so tired and weak and I’m having loonie roll sized blood clots and I’m bleeding through S+ in just an hour.

I had this exact same thing happen a few months ago, went to emergency and I had a woman doctor and I thought yes someone who’s going to understand. But she just laughed and said “women just don’t realize how much their bodies change after having kids, so what do you want? Birth control?” (I’ve had two children, after my first my periods got lighter, after my second who was born in under 30 minutes very fast, they’re like this now and it’s brutal).

I want an ablation done. I’m done having children, I had preeclampsia twice and the second time it was severe. So we decided to stop. But no one wants to listen, they just tell me I’m too young or what if I want more children? I DONT and my husband had a vasectomy done.

I don’t know what else to do, I guess I just needed somewhere to vent with people who will understand or relate. 😭
