Breastfed Newborn stomach trouble

My newborn is 2 weeks old & has had issues with wind since basically she was born, plenty of nurses & midwife’s have seen her but they all seem to think she’s ok & just show me different ways to burp her.

She puts on weight, drinks, she’s projectile vommited one time but I think she may have fed too much.

I get a lot of home visits from midwife’s & they haven’t picked anything up with her health wise.

She will curl up and scream until I pick her up and walk around with her and then it seems to settle her.

I have noticed bubbles coming from her mouth sometimes & also some dribble. She’s very loud sleeping

Please be kind I’m a first time mum whose really having a hard time

Has anyone else experience this & what did you do or what was it

Try completely eliminating all dairy from your diet. Many newborns can't tolerate cow casein.

It sounds like your baby might be experiencing some digestive discomfort. It's common for newborns to have gas and reflux issues. Make sure to burp her frequently during feeds and keep her upright for about 20-30 minutes after feeding. You can also try gentle tummy massages to help with gas. If you're concerned, it's always best to consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice. Remember, you're doing a great job as a first-time mom!
