My SO drinks almost everyday, when he does drink, he tends to lecture our kids about life and God. He does not yell at them, but hed sound like he's yelling at them.

Now in the past, we both used to argue a lot when he drinks, and id leave for the night until he sobers up.

Now every time he does that to them, they would say that he's a bad boy, or even mention the police. Whenever he tells me to go buy more beer, all of them would freak out, and run out to the car before I even get in. And they would tell me they dont want to go back.

He gets mad and say it's my fault because I've done it so many times in the past, that theyve learned it from me. He isn't being physically or verbally abusive towards them, all he does is talk to them about life and God.

Any advice on what I should do?

I've talked to him about quitting drinking, but he isn't willing to. I told him they're just scared, but he's really mad at me, saying I've turned them against him. That I refuse to let him teach them lessons in life and about God.
