Pelvic floor rest during pregnancy…
So I’m newly 4/5 weeks pregnant🌈
We have a 3 year old who we went through fertility to become pregnant and I went into labor at 25 weeks and they said it was bc I had an incompetent cervix and I was too far along so a cerclage was not doable so I remained in the hospital until i delivered at 34 weeks(only 2 week nicu stay for those interested🤍)
So now it’s 3 years of trying for baby #2 and we fell pregnant on progesterone and letrozole through my ob clinic and I’m about 4/5 weeks and when we spoke with our perinatologist a few months ago she mentioned that my symptoms of my first pregnancy aren’t usually a result of an incompetent cervix but it’s still unknown but I’ll be high risk from the start to be safe and get seen more. She mentioned pelvic rest for my future pregnancies…..and guys….my husband and I have a healthyyyyy sex life so besides the obvious(bj and hand jobs) how can I keeps it spicy with him🥺 and also my sex drive is higher than high not pregnant so like how can i make it through this? Lol someone give me hope haha
(Also will be doing a follow up with my perinatologist to see what all pelvic test means for me, but assuming it’s to make sure my cervix doesn’t weaken I’d imagine no insertion and no O’s🥹)
